Director of Learning and Social Impact, The Palms Tutors
From Online Tutoring to Community Transformation
My journey into online tutoring began in the classroom, where I noticed that many 100-level Economics students struggled not because they couldn’t grasp economic ideas, but because of weak foundational Mathematics skills.
In response, I began creating YouTube video lessons aligned with the secondary school curriculum. However, it soon became clear that the real gaps were even deeper; students lacked essential foundation concepts such as fractions, percentages, and word problems. This insight inspired a strategic shift: I refocused on primary-level math, aiming to build understanding from the ground up.
By 2019, and especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, this vision gained momentum. I launched the Times Table Mastery Course, developed structured tutorial bundles for children, and have produced more than 350 video lessons that make math simple, relatable, and fun.
What began as a digital solution has now evolved into a physical movement for change. As Director of Learning and Social Impact at The Palms Tutors, I lead programs that extend beyond online learning, including The Palms Tutors Learning Hub, a free community space in Ogun State offering access to a digital math library, a community library, and monthly mentorship sessions focused on character development.
To date, our work has reached over 2,000 students online and continues to grow through hybrid and community-based initiatives that combine education with values-driven mentorship.

Teens/Youth Mentoring
The idea to start a teenagers’ club came as a clear inspiration from the Holy Spirit. What began in March 2021 with just seven teenagers has now grown into a thriving community of over 40 young changemakers.
Though we only recently began sharing our stories online, the transformation and success of these teenagers have been profoundly fulfilling to witness.
Catch a glimpse of their growth and impact in our Brochure.
